Reclining Chair

Reclining Chair - NHS Grampian

Dunedin Chapter did a fantastic job in proudly raising money selling the charity patches.  One of the items that were purchased from the money raised and donated was a reclining chair for NHS Grampian.

NHS Grampian is working on a Staff Haven Project; as part of the project are reclining chairs, they will allow staff to relax, put their feet up, and have some time out.

The recliner we purchased.  Best news of all, it arrived earlier than expected allowing staff at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital to hopefully get some time to relax, put their feet up and have some well-deserved time out.

The chair arrived, put in place, and staff using it, as you can see in the photograph.  They are delighted.  Sheena sent us a lovely email of thanks would like to share this with you.

Attached is the chair and Sue Dandy, Nurse Manager at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital.  I’m sorry that your patches aren’t in the photo – between restrictions on accessing hospitals, the chair arriving sooner than thought, and there only being one member of our team in the office once a week, we didn’t manage to co-ordinate that.

However, the chair is magnificent, and Sue is clearly enjoying posing for the photo.

Many thanks and wishing you all a lovely time over Christmas, however that looks this year.
