Chapter Ride – Peebles Vintage Jumble

A ride out for all members.
Breakfast meet at Elginhaugh, followed by a ride to Peebles to the annual vintage jumble.
Outward Run: Meet at Elginhaugh Carvery, 9 Gilmerton Rd, Edinburgh, EH18 1BD from 8:30am for breakfast.
Depart 10:15am.Head south on (A7) then right onto (A6094) to Leadburn. At Leadburn left turn onto (A703). At Peebles turn right onto A(72) and take a left turn to Peebles Drill Hall, Walkers Haugh, Peebles, EH45 8AU
Journey 38 minutes 20 miles.

Return run: Late lunch at Riders Retreat, Glentress, Peebles, EH45 8NB. Depart left on (A72) until Innerleithen then via Granites road rejoin the (A7) north to Elginhaugh. Journey 45 minutes 28 miles.

This is a large-scale bike event and not exclusive to Dunedin Chapter, it is more than likely that we will encounter other bikes enroute and at the Drill Hall where the jumble is being held.
